When I designed Xccelerate’s Innovation Workshops, I wasn’t just creating another training program—I was building a bridge between design thinking, business impact, and real-world problem-solving.

From B2B clients to aspiring UX designers, these workshops weren’t one-size-fits-all. Each session was a dynamic, hands-on experience tailored to industry challenges, helping teams develop strategies, improve collaboration, and drive innovation.

But behind every polished workshop was the grit of a startup in a competitive market.

The Challenge: Designing for Impact in a Crowded Space

Tech education is booming in APAC and the Middle East, but standing out was tough. Companies wanted innovation, but they also needed tangible results. Learners expected engaging, interactive experiences, but many struggled with remote collaboration.

My challenge? Designing workshops that didn’t just teach design thinking—they made people use it.

The Solution: Blending Learning with Execution

To ensure maximum engagement across virtual, hybrid, and in-person settings, I focused on:

• Interactive Learning – Using FigJam to create digital collaboration boards that made remote workshops feel as interactive as in-person ones.

• Gamification & Community – Leveraging Thinkific with custom gamified elements to boost engagement and knowledge retention.

• Facilitation Training – Coaching UX students and corporate teams on how to run their own high-impact workshops, making design thinking a lasting skill.

Success Metrics: The Impact We Created

• 500+ UX/UI students trained through interactive facilitation.

• 50+ real-world projects developed by students, spanning multiple industries.

• Increased team collaboration and problem-solving skills in corporate clients.

While these numbers tell part of the story, the real success was seeing teams shift their mindset—embracing iteration, creative problem-solving, and user-centered thinking.
